During 2007 I•M•D•S visited every major European Boat Show and Marine Trade Fair, supporting our existing network of distributors and meeting new ones.  During 2008 we will see the Marine Trade really start to come of age in developing markets like Turkey, Croatia and Poland to name a few.  The shows within these territories are fast becoming large international events. It is our intention to work these shows hard, developing our relationships as these new markets mature.

At other major public shows around Europe I•M•D•S will support their network of distributors. Making sure that proper working displays have been provided along with necessary literature, in advance of the show. And generally making sure that the products they represent are displayed in the best possible light. This can involve advising and in some cases creating the displays, which will then travel from show to show around Europe.

OEM’s visits. Much of I•M•D•S’s time is spent developing its ever-growing boat builder business. Manufacturers visits to OEMs’ is a fundamental part of developing this business, whether through a distributor or on a direct basis. I.M.D.S has the contacts and knowledge to make things happen.

Forums. I•M•D•S has been instrumental in organising forums for manufacturers wishing to educate and build a team spirit amongst distributors. This has proved to be a powerful tool in focusing attention on new ideas and concepts. It’s also a great way for manufacturers to learn which way they should be looking to the future.
