With 50 years experience in the European marine market between them (we don’t look that old, do we!), René and Tony’s industry knowledge covers every aspect of the European marine trade. From technical products for the boat builders to “on the shelf” lines for the chandleries, they will assess and propose the most effective line of supply for your particular product or range into the market.

Taking on products which have been available for some time in Europe can be a challenge. The goal remains the same. Increasing business and market share requires careful assessment of where a product sits in the market place. Perhaps things have become a bit stale, and some changes are needed with the line of supply. It may well be that changes to the product line will be required to really maximise this growth. I•M•D•S will produce information that will help a manufacturer make the right decisions to secure long-term growth. Not just a short term fix! I•M•D•S can help with marketing strategy and ideas that will in some cases re-introduce an old product, or introduce a new one.

As manufacturers representatives IMDS’s job is to sell the product. Just offering the market a large list of products, which a distributor can cherry pick from, is one way. Marrying the right product with the right distributor, and helping them achieve progressive results is another. I•M•D•S believes that the manufacturer should have a direct relationship with his or her distributor in each territory. This means that the manufacturer invoices the OEM or distributor. I•M•D•S does not become another expensive link in the chain. It also means that the manufacturer is involved and fully aware of what is being achieved within that territory. This transparent method of working achieves a better more structured growth, for a more solid future. Making sure payments are made promptly is another part of our service.
